SPARTA — Sparta High School defeated Pope John XXIII Regional High School in girls varsity lacrosse on Thursday, April 13. The final score was 10-8. The game took place at Pope John XXIII Regional High School in Sparta.
Kaitlin Mead led Sparta in scoring contributing four goals. Jacqui Hallack contributed three goals and made two assists.
Sparta goal keeper Madison Levinson made eleven saves.
Maria Oliva contributed a team-high four goals and made two assists for Pope John. Emma Valiante contributed three goals.
Pope John goal keeper Kayla Brutosky made twelve saves.
