Sparta Cyclones take championship

Sparta — In their second spring season, the Sparta Cyclones won the 11U USABL Central North Championship on Sunday, June 18, by defeating the 10-0 Rockaway Red Raiders by a score of 9-4.
On their way to the finals the Cyclones defeated both the Hit and Run Outlaws of Jefferson and NJ Crush of Randolph. This is the Cyclones second championship in consecutive years.
The team is made up of boys from 4th - 6th grades from both Sparta schools and Pope John Middle School.
