Thank you, Talbots

    The Sparta Education Foundation (SEF) participated in an all-day shopping fundraiser on Thursday, December 7 at Talbots in Sparta. Talbots generously donated 10% of pre-tax sales made that day to the SEF. We appreciate Talbots hosting this event, and I would also like to thank SEF Trustee Vaishali Dhand who was instrumental in the success of this fundraiser.
    The Sparta Education Foundation has awarded over $895,000 in grants to all five of Sparta’s public schools since 2006. The Foundation is an independent, non-profit, all-volunteer 501 (c) (3) NJ Non-Profit Corporation whose mission is to engage the entire community in philanthropic giving that strengthens the public schools, supports teachers, and inspires students.
