Strong divergent expressions on every subject,
Local, national and worldly all sincerely direct.
Controversial and divisive for some,
But in democracy a “freedom of expression” conundrum!
“Be all you can be” for journalists “freedom of the press,”
And not shy away from readers desire to express.
Democracy is messy but “when local news fails,”
By “censoring” free speech voids a fundamental guardrail.
Local news already dominates our weekly papers,
So endure a “worldly” pittance for your readers.
